Recognizing and nurturing their inherent capabilities encourages their development and empowers them to thrive.
The Heart of the Fund
Brandon’s Story
Brandon ז״ל was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at the age of two. Despite intense interventions across various fields, he remained non-verbal throughout his life. His days were often filled with specialty schools and afternoon therapies. However, Friendship Circle provided him with a chance to form meaningful connections beyond his usual routine.

Mutually Beneficial Partnership
Teens equally benefit from the positive and meaningful interactions and friendships with their neurodiverse peers.
The Friendship Circle has an enormous impact on the typical teenage volunteers. These relationships foster empathy, understanding, and acceptance, helping teens appreciate the diverse perspectives and experiences of others. Engaging with neurodiverse peers can enhance social skills, patience, and adaptability, as teens learn to communicate and connect in different ways. These friendships also encourage teens to become advocates for our special needs community. Ultimately, such interactions enrich the lives of all involved, creating a more cohesive society.
Donating to a non-profit fund supporting neurodiverse children is a powerful way to make a lasting impact. By supporting Brandon’s cause, donors are not only investing in the futures of neurodiverse children but also promoting a more compassionate society.
How Does It Work?
The Brandon Rozencwaig Memorial Fund is managed by The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Your donations are invested for longevity by The Foundation, which donates a percentage annually to Friendship Circle. This ensures that your contributions grow to create an endowment for Friendship Circle, making a significant impact on the lives of special needs children, young adults, and their families.
One of the standout features is the Foundation’s commitment to zero management fees. This ensures that donors' contributions are maximized for the intended purpose. Not only does your donation support Friendship Circle now, but it will also grow to support Friendship Circle in perpetuity.
The fund is strategically invested to ensure its longevity, providing a sustainable source of support for years to come. By focusing on long-term growth, the fund can continue to support neurodiverse children and their families, adapting to their evolving needs.
